I admittedly haven't read much Victorian literature. I slogged my way through A Christmas Carol when I was 12, and I read The Buddenbrooks (someone should make an English-language miniseries from this book, it's just begging for it) and some other Thomas Mann in high school, but that's about it. I am all about the mid-Victorian clothes, though, I love some good froof.
