Found out yesterday that work has a zillion Covid rapid tests on hand, to give to anyone who wants one, so instead of bothering with the drive-thru at Walgreens, I got one done here. It came back negative, thankfully, so my cold is just a cold. Still can't smell, and taste is pretty dodgy. I hope this clears up soon, because not being able to smell is hella depressing.

Stopped at Walmart to get meds on the way home, bought half a tank of gas to get me to payday, and went home to cook noodles. I was completely exhausted, but still managed to not get to bed early enough. Tonight I will try to get to bed before 10 so I can catch up and hopefully not feel so zombified.

Tiger is a ball of energy. He bounced all over the living room last night playing with whatever he could. His favorite toys are wadded up napkins and kleenex, which, eew. I gave him a couple of mousie toys (dressed as Santa and an Elf, naturally), and he tossed them all over the place, doing flips, and jumping up in the air, and being a general lunatic with them. He and Tibby played a little around the cardboard box which is pretty much a permanent fixture in the living room now. At one point, Tibby slammed Tiger to the ground and just put a paw on his chest like "no", and Tiger just laid on the floor, even after Tib had walked away. For a moment I thought Tib might have knocked him against the table and hurt him, but when I looked he was fine and just laying there like "he told me to stay here".

His playing has dislodged a lot of previously hidden dust bunnies, so tonight I have a date with the Swiffer.
