Called and cancelled the already long overdue gyno appointment because I just don't have the brainwidth to deal with it on top of everything else right now.
Managed a good amount of sewing last night after work, and things are progressing smoothly. I'm on track to do the hoop makeover this weekend and start the exercise outfit. I can't wait to get some fun photos in that one.
M leaves to see family next week, and will be gone for 10 days. I'm hoping to get a lot done while he's gone, as four of those days will be the county's Thanksgiving holiday and I'll have a lot of time to sew and film. Can I bang out two dresses over four days? We'll find out.
Plan right now is to at least get the red dress done. I'm going to shoot about how to size up a commercial pattern, which I think will be a helpful video, so I'll do that over the break, too. I'm going to attempt to make the wrapper, too, but I still need to experiment with painting over the print. If I could get those three things done while M is out, it will put me six weeks ahead of my filming schedule. Then over the Christmas break, I can concentrate on getting the Victorian diet/exercise video done, which is going to take quite some time, and maybe getting a head start on some of my upcoming spring projects.
I just need to treat those four days as "work days", get up at my usual time, and actually work on stuff, instead of sleeping until 11, watching TV for a few hours, and then maybe sewing a stitch or two in the afternoon, like I usually do on my days off. XP
