(no subject)

Another late night last night, waiting for M to get out of class. I had my embroidery with me, but ran out of floss before I could finish the first side of the waistcoat. Still, I'm really happy with how it's looking.



Thinking back on it, I should have brought the other side to prep for embroidery, but I was so incredibly sluggish this morning that it just didn't occur to me. Ah, well. I'm still pretty confident that I'll have it done by the event, so I'm not overly worried about missing a day.

I do need to start on his coat and breeches soon, so I'll probably take a stab at those tomorrow night. No time to embroider those, though, so they'll just be plain. I'll have to dig through the storage unit to find my purple satin, but I know it's in there somewhere.

My trim seems to be bouncing between distribution centers. It was in the Fort Worth distribution center yesterday, and I just checked on it and for some unknown reason, it was sent to Austin. WTF, postal service? That's the wrong way! Ugh. Getting antsy about finishing the dress. There's still a lot to do.
