Jan. 21st, 2021 08:31 amPosed a question on Facebook asking people what they get the most commission requests for, as some light research for a future video. Apparently, this was clearly an attempt to get back into taking commissions (not on your life, buddy) and I had DMs this morning with requests for stuff. No, I will absolutely not alter your budget wedding dress to fit you, that sounds like complete hell.
Only two people actually responded to my original question, which isn't enough to start my research on. :-/
In other news, I watched The Little Mermaid for the first time in years the other night, and now I want to do a historically accurate version of Ariel's pink dress. Research has started. I need to finish my corded petticoat and other assorted underthings. But, this will be fun, I love pink frilly things, and I'm excited. I even already have a bolt of pink satin in my Stash, so it's a budget friendly project, too! Though, I am tempted to use taffeta to keep the dress lighter and fluffier. I'm going to do some sketches tonight and see if I can dig out my unfinished undies. This would be a good summer project, for after I get all the current stuff done.
