Sep. 1st, 2023 09:09 amWELP, the wrapper is a no-go after all this weekend. The package was suddenly marked as "insufficient address" last night and returned to sender. ~sigh~ I contacted the Etsy shop, and they confirmed that yes, they used my correct address, so I assume this is just another in a string of fuck ups by my local delivery guy. No one is answering the phone number for my local branch because of course they aren't.
I'm taking a half-day at work today anyway because it's my birthday, so I'm going to try and intercept my package at the post office before it truly gets sent back to Michigan.
My trim order is out for delivery today, and it better not get messed up, too.
On top of package shenanigans, my iron stopped working this morning while I was trying to iron clothes for work. -_- All the lights are on and the buttons work, but the plate isn't heating up. ~sigh~
If I can't intercept my wrapper fabric, then it's maternity corset sewing this weekend instead - size up the pattern, mockup, and get at least the front and back panels assembled as much as possible so I can take the measurements I need to order the springs for the side panels and belly band. Once I get as much of that done as possible, then I'll move on to working out the pattern for the Ivy Leaf Dress.
