Sep. 12th, 2023 09:26 amThere was a lot more storm damage from the weekend's storms than I expected, not for us but for the people one neighborhood over. One house lost their very old oak tree, which ended up split right down the middle. There were various tree limbs down everywhere. I heard from Liz that they lost power for nearly 2 days! Craziness. We had wind and rain, but we never lost power and our trees are fine.
Arrived home last night to a stack of packages nearly as tall as I am! We still need to pull some of the furniture out of the office (namely a giant old TV that M was planning to use for vintage games but which proved to be unsuitable and now just takes up space) before we can set up the baby stuff, so it's lingering in the living room for now.
Had leftover spaghetti for dinner and M and I watched four (!) episodes of Better Call Saul. We have four left in the series, and M seems determined to finish them tonight. This is highly unusual for him, as he always says he's not a big TV guy (which is true, he has one or two shows he's really in to and the rest of the time he doesn't watch anything.)
Finished the night with more ironing, blah.
PoF3 has shipped and should be here by Monday. I'm hoping it arrives a little early so I have it as a reference this weekend while I work on stuff for baronial college, but it's not a big deal if it doesn't since the same garments are in Tudor Tailor.
The weather this morning was gorgeous - 68 degrees!
