(no subject)

This weekend was kind of a blur. The baby was inconsolable for a good chunk of Saturday, for reasons neither of us could figure out, so it was mostly a baby-tending day. She finally settled in the late afternoon, and I was able to get in a bit of ironing, but that was all I managed. M was gone the majority of the day to a funeral of a high school teacher he had liked. Since his high school doesn't do 10-year reunions the funeral sort of turned into one by default, so he was gone into the evening since a bunch of them all went out to dinner together.

I didn't manage much on Sunday, either. The baby's sleep patterns seem to be shifting. On the one hand, it means she sleeps longer at night, which hooray, but on the other hand it means I don't have as much spare time during the day to get things done because she needs/wants attention. :-/ 

So, no recording or editing was done for this month's video. I may have to do something else, since I feel like the editing for the natural form hoops video is going to take me longer than a week, and I wanted to get a video out this Friday. I may be able to pull off a One Day Make, I just don't know of what. Hmm.

Time off for next week was approved, hooray! Not feeling super confident about how well I'll be able to dedicate time to the opera dress, if this past weekend was any indication. If it's not fancy, then it's not fancy, but I hopefully will at least be able to get it to "wearable."
