Oct. 3rd, 2024 09:15 amSpent all day on it, but I did actually make a dinner menu for the entire month. Spent a lot of time making sure everything was balanced - no more than one pasta a week, not too many soups in a row, not too many of the same protein in a row, and a few strategic days marked for takeout. I feel quite accomplished about it. Now I won't have to make a decision every single night, I can focus my grocery shopping to just what I'll need for the upcoming meals, and I can prep some of the more ingredient heavy meals the night before so I don't have to spend so much time chopping the night of.
Brought a length of muslin and the surplice bodice pattern with me to work. A mockup will happen today!
Tickets for the Dickens Tea went on sale, so I grabbed mine. All the non-official events are now bought and paid for, hooray! Strangely, none of the official ticketed events have even been announced yet, and tickets usually go on sale in September. We're two months out from the event, and they're still accepting vendor and performer applications, which seems like cutting it a bit close.
The giant green inflatable spider population of the neighborhood has jumped from 6 to 10! Nearly every house on that street has one now, which is incredibly amusing.
