Nov. 25th, 2024 09:45 amSpent a good chunk of the weekend in the kitchen, either cleaning or cooking. Cleaned most of Saturday, then made a roast ham with honey glazed carrots and mashed potatoes for dinner.
Sunday was more cleaning. Made loaded potato pancakes with the leftover mashed potatoes (add 2 eggs, shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, and some flour to potatoes, form into balls, fry them up.) The rest of the ham was slated for a chowder, but I never got around to it. Ham and potato chowder will happen tonight instead.
Another weekend devoid of sewing progress. I am truly in a crunch now, but I do have four days off for Thanksgiving, and M has promised me a full day of uninterrupted sewing time no matter what, so here's hoping.
