Jan. 27th, 2025 09:32 amWoke up on Saturday feeling fantastic, and I managed to have a productive day because of it. I tackled all the hand-sewing on the ballgown skirt, and got it to the point where I just have one seam left, and a bit of ruffle to fix. Once that's done, the skirt will be officially finished! I didn't manage to make it to the fabric warehouses to match satins, but at least I was still working on the dress. Progress is progress.
Sunday M and I decided to have a relaxation day, so we all hung out in the living room together and did very little. M played Fable on the big TV and I watched, which was entertaining, and the baby seemed fairly happy to entertain herself. We had chips and queso for lunch, and I didn't feel like doing anything much for dinner, so we just had breakfast sandwiches.
Taking Thursday off to watch the baby while M is in Dallas for his job interview. I'm looking forward to the extra day off, and am going to try and either finish the skirt, if I don't manage it after work this week, or mock up the bodice. Need to wrap this dress up this week so I can work on the day dress.
