I finally finished binding the bottom of the new stays! Hooray! I also was able to cut out the straps, sew them on, and cover the seam. I managed to bind half of the top of the stays before I had to turn in. So, I'm really in the home stretch now! I can't wait to be done with them.

Of course, now I can't find my shift. -_- They had my favourite engageantes stitched into the cuff, too, I need to find it. I did manage to find a half-dozen petticoats that I'd thought I lost, though. How is it that I have a million petticoats, but I always manage to lose my shifts/chemises? That Edwardian chemise with all the inset lace? Gone. The six Regency chemises I made for New Orleans? Gone. Now my 18thC shift is gone. Whyyyyyyyyy?

Will definitely be heading to Dallas tomorrow to bump up my Stash game. I've mostly whittled down my current selection to utility fabrics and stuff I bought for specific cosplays that I will probably never actually use, so I need some good period-appropriate stuff again. M really wanted to come with me, which will give me a chance to let him pick out some fabrics for some new waistcoats and things.
