Yesterday.
No.
I woke up with minimal patience, and then everyone at work started asking me to do stupid little tasks like air up basketballs and print out ID cards. It literally takes you longer to email me than to print it out yourself.
Everyone seemed to want to hang out in the watch office, so there was just so much noise all day and it was so exhausting and grating.
Then the Sheriff releases a video (we have a video newsletter) saying that effective Saturday, all Detention staff are going to 6-day weeks. That's it. No details on who is included (just pod officers? booking staff? admin? officers loaned from the courts? WHO?), which day off they are giving up, how long it's going to be effective, nothing. Of course, people start calling the watch office, or coming to us in person, asking all sorts of questions, and we are totally clueless.
They sent a vague memo out this morning only clarifying that officers are going to be coming in on their first day off now, but that was it. -_-
Also found out last night that YouTube has changed their terms of service so that now they can run ads on non-monetized videos, but YouTube keeps all that revenue, which is shitty as hell. I'm small enough that it probably won't effect me, but if they do tack ads onto my videos, I'll have no control over the ad content, frequency, or placement. Ugh.
To end the day, a pigeon swooped down and shat on my head while I was waiting for M.
