Mar. 7th, 2023 08:38 amWe have some sort of federal holiday at the end of the month, and I think I'm going to take that whole week as vacation. I feel like I need a break.
Got the email today that I did not get selected in the ticket drawing for the Vienna New Year's Concert. I apply every year, and I was selected one year - 2020. Womp womp. Hopefully next year!
Made excellent enchiladas last night, which was a relief after such a run of bad meals. It took the rest of the night to get the kitchen cleaned up after ignoring it all weekend, so the hip pads were not made.
Tonight I shall attempt to make the hip pads. Depending on how long that takes, we may or may not get to the papertape form tonight. M has been falling asleep really early (like 7-ish) again, so I doubt it will happen, so hip pads tonight, dress form tomorrow.
Ideally, I'd like to have the main construction of the skirt finished before next week so I can move onto the jacket. I think that's doable.
