Tibby managed to sneak into the bedroom last night, where he jumped on the bed to receive many pets. M and I were petting him at the same time, and he just could not handle that much affection, and drooled all over everything. Hilarious and adorable.

Brought a big enough linen scrap with me today to make the test coif from the new pattern. I would probably have enough of it to also start transferring the embroidery pattern onto a second coif, but I want to get a better linen for that project.

Bought some second-hand copies of embroidery books from the Royal School of Needlework, which should be here on Friday. Hooray!

Waffling about buying a slate frame. I've wanted one for years, but they're just so damned expensive. ~sigh~
