First, I had a coughing fit so violent that it made me vomit. Never had that happen before. Do not recommend.
Then the baby decided to wait until her diaper was off to let off a truly impressive pee fountain that drenched her clothes, the changing table, and everything else. So, she got a bath and the changing table got a scrub down.
Then Tookie peed on the floor, so I just went ahead and deep cleaned the entire cat closet for good measure.
Then she pooped on the floor of the bathroom. Another cleanup.
Aaaaand another coughing->vomiting incident. Awesome.
I am so, so glad it is Friday. I am exhausted and want to sleep in.
On the bright side, we had a lovely storm roll in just as I was heading to bed, so I could enjoy the rain and lightning while falling asleep. Apparently it was stronger than I was aware, because there were quite a few downed limbs and lots of leaf debris on the way in to work today. Still nice to sleep to heavy rain.
The last season of Evil has also started. I'm so bummed that the show is ending, it is so, so good. If you haven't watched it, it's on Paramount+. It's beautifully shot, the acting is fantastic, and the writing is excellent. They also use awesome music. I'm so excited for every new episode, so I'm really happy that it's back.
Star Trek: Discovery also had its series finale last night. It was a 20 minute fist fight, some space battles, and then they decided that the MacGuffin, which they've been saying the entire season is "too dangerous to fall into the wrong hands" is...too dangerous to fall into the wrong hands, and uh, re-hid it. There was a 20-minute coda where they flash-forward to...30? years in the future when Discovery is being decommissioned...sort of? I think? They talked about Zora (the ship's sentient computer) going to some coordinates and waiting there for...something. Indefinitely. They do not tell us what. And that's it. Setting up for some future series? Maybe something that happens in the upcoming ST: Academy series? Probably. Meh, whatever.
