(no subject)

Soup went together super fast last night thanks to all of the pre-chopping of vegetables done the night before, so  we actually had dinner ready before 7! Huzzah! The baby went to bed at a normal hour, too, so I had a good couple of hours of sewing time before bed. Hooray!

One ruffle is now attached. I severely underestimated how long attaching a ruffle would take, and it ate up the entire 2.5 hours I was working. Having all the ruffles attached by tonight is definitely not going to happen, but I still feel pretty confident that I can get the skirt finished before the weekend. 

Slept like the dead and got up a bit late this morning, so I didn't have time to pack up supplies to do the bodice mockup while at work today, so that will happen tomorrow instead. I'm itchy to be done with this dress, it feels so close!
