Mar. 21st, 2025 09:16 amCarolina had her last anti-inflammatory med yesterday, and we'll hopefully have her in for her shots this afternoon. We had to force feed her last night with a syringe, which was fun for everyone, I tell you what. Once she realized what we were doing she stopped fighting us as much, but she growled through every bite while happily chewing on the syringe, which was pretty funny honestly. At least she has food in her stomach now. At bedtime she actually had enough energy to jump up onto the bed with us, which was a very good sign because she has been staying ground level.
The weather was nice yesterday, so I took the baby to the park after work. She tried to eat every rock and acorn we came across, so I ended up carrying her most of the time we were in the woods. I let her run around when we got to the meadow, where she found an acorn cap that was big enough she wouldn't swallow it, so I let her chew on that while she played. She got a bath once we got home, and then we put her to bed. The rest of the evening was spent tearing the house apart trying to find the TV remote that she had sent to the void.
Had a dream last night that Tom Hiddleston showed up to Gulf Wars in full Elizabethan kit. Shame to wake up from that one this morning.
