The last couple of days have been weird and mildly annoying. Monday night, M went out to pick up my prescription since it was the last day to do so, and on the way back the Jeep overheated and he had to wait it out in a gas station parking lot. When he opened the hood to have a look, he was sprayed with hot water, so it appears the radiator hose is borked.

He came home frustrated and went to bed for a nap at 7:00 and didn't wake up again until 10:30.

Meanwhile, the baby went down for the night around 8, and I spent the rest of the evening making something to eat. Ended up doing a tomato chicken dish over rice that was quite tasty. The sauce was just heavy cream, parmesan, chicken broth, and some sundried tomato pesto, all whisked together and left to reduce, then the chicken was simmered in it for 10 minutes. Very tasty and quick.

Tuesday morning, as soon as my alarm went off, M was like "I've been in intense physical pain for the past three hours." Turns out that, because he sleeps on his side with his arm straight out underneath him, that caused a strain on his shoulder that ended up finally tearing something. He asked me to stay home, so I did, and he downed some pain killers and soldiered through work while I watched the baby.

Made hamburgers for dinner which almost had me falling down because the kitchen was so hot. I told M there will be no more cooking until the AC is fixed, because I won't survive. We ate, the baby went down for bed, and then I dozed on the couch while M finished up work. Once he was finished we headed to bed ourselves, and I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. But, the baby had one of her rare night terrors at around midnight and woke up screaming, so we spent some time comforting her with cuddles and treats before she was settled enough to go back to bed.

I am very, very tired today.

Still no movement on the AC repair, so M is going to talk to the office today. All they ever do when I call them is create another work order, so now we have a stack of work orders, which are also being ignored. -_- I get that there's a million AC units to repair since almost all of us were hit, but it's been two weeks now, and it's supposed to be sunny and hot for the foreseeable future, and I would like to not swelter and die, thanks.
