Apr. 10th, 2025 09:43 amIt got up to 86 yesterday, and the house was warm when I got home. We managed to keep the temp manageable with many fans blowing as hard as they could, and we had cold sandwiches for dinner so we didn't add any heat to the house by cooking. Despite having called the office again yesterday, still no repair in sight.
Called the office again this morning, and they gave me the same "we're sending him over today!" that they've given me a dozen times already, but this time she said that if he hasn't shown up by 4 to give her a call back so she can get him over ASAP. I'm dubious, but we'll see.
Anyway, once M was finished with work last night, he headed out to repair the Jeep's busted hose, so now the Jeep is back in operational order. Hooray for that, at least!
Baby had a late-night snack attack, so we sat on the couch together and ate fruit and cheese. Once she was in bed, I showered, and then hit the hay myself.
No goals for tonight since it's too hot to do much of anything. If they actually do fix the AC today, then I can think about getting back to projects tomorrow.
