Received the 1860s corset pattern this morning, and honestly it looks a little weird. I'll reserve judgement until I do a mockup. It's a simple non-gusseted pattern with five pieces per side. We'll see how it goes!

Poked a bit at the petticoat last night but didn't really do any work on it. I was exhausted from staying up too late and getting up too early, and just vegged on the couch with the cats. Carolina was particularly snuggly, and I'm not one to pass up Carolina snoogles.

There's still a gallon of pasta sauce left, so dinner is taken care of tonight. I'll probably move a pork loin from the freezer to the fridge today so it can gently defrost and be ready to become pulled pork by the time the sauce is gone.

Will attempt to finish the last of the petticoat stuff tonight so I can pick up some drill tomorrow and do a mockup of the 1860s corset. I also need to mockup the 1872 corset again to ease my mind. My coutil order arrived last night, so I have all the supplies needed to make the 1860 corset if it goes well. I feel like making this corset hot pink, so I'll probably order a yard of pink taffeta.
