m_of_disguiseHad enough energy this weekend to do the dishes! Hooray! Small victories, eh? I also made myself a caesar salad, which didn't bother my stomach, so also hooray!
Spent the rest of the weekend watching Jamie&Julia on YouTube. There are some desserts that I am interested in trying, but they also seem incredibly time consuming, so that may never happen. I have made exactly one French recipe in my entire life, and it took me two entire days of nonstop cooking, so I'm not exactly chomping at the bit to tackle another.
I'm totally out of clean clothes, so I finally had to tackle the ironing pile, sort of. I picked a dress from the pile that I could wear to work, ironed that one dress, and called it a night. I'll probably iron another dress every night until I'm completely through the pile, and then I will actually be entirely out of clean clothes.
Woke up feeling completely exhausted and kind of spacey. Thankfully, Mondays at work are pretty quiet, so there's shouldn't be too much that I have to focus on today.
M's trip to Chicago has been booked, so the car retrieval has been set. He's going up on a Wednesday, spending a couple of days with his friend celebrating their new job, and then will drive back.
