m_of_disguiseDid a bit more work on the last gusset yesterday, stitching in some vines and outlining more leaves. I feel like I can finish it up next week, which would be fabulous. Can I actually finish this corset before my expanding uterus makes fitting things impossible? We'll see!
M has an alumni cookout tomorrow, which means uninterrupted sewing time for me. Corded petticoat plans are a go! I'll need to stop at Joann's for some nice, tightly woven cotton since all I have at home is my cheap muslin, but then it's all engines go.
Stopped at the pastry shop again this morning for more sausage biscuits, but they only had gluten free ones this morning. I still bought two, and while the biscuits are still delicious, the breakfast sausage is somehow less spicy? Still good, though.
Excited to sew. So glad I feel well enough to function right now.
