Hit CostCo after work to pick up a few things and ended up spending $100 somehow. ~sigh~ M was really wanting chili, which I am in no mood to make and he has no time to make, so I picked up a bucket of chili in the CostCo deli. It was bland and weirdly sweet, so I doctored it as best I could with my regular spices, but it was still eh. Oh well. Still thinking about the bag of persimmons they had in stock, and feel like I need to go back and get them. I love persimmons, and I usually only find them at the fancy grocery store for way too much money.

After all the price hikes and restarted loans of yesterday, it was nice to receive an email from our car insurance that the price was actually going down for the next six months. Quelle surprise!

After refreshing my memory about how much work it takes to dress a slate frame, I've decided to go ahead and pattern out a matching forehead cloth for the strawberry coif so I can put them both on the same piece of linen, and work on them both without having to redress the frame later. I won't be able to take this project to work, but eh, that's okay. I've been desperately wanting something to keep me busy in the evenings, anyway.

Carolina has been such a snuggly kitty lately, and last night in bed she crawled under the covers and sleep all curled up beside me. <3
