Got our earnest money for the house back yesterday. When I spoke to our realtor, he told us that ours was the first inspection ever done on the house! The seller requested a copy of the inspection report, and our realtor told him that hey, if he ever fixes all the major problems, let us know! The house was back up on Zillow before the end of the day, so it doesn't look like he's going to bother addressing any of the issues we found.

Since the crunch of house buying is gone and the baby is settled in, I'm going to try and get back to sewing this weekend. I started a corded petticoat during my leave that I want to finish soon. It's sooo tedious, and while I enjoy a certain amount of tedium in my projects, this one takes the cake. I'm over it, and I want this thing done. I've finished the two biggest sections of cording at the hem (one group of 15 cords, and one group of 10 cords) and am now working on the five sections of five. I don't know how much I'll be able to finish over the long weekend, but I'm really hoping to finish the entire thing.

The petticoat will likely take the entire weekend, but it will be worth it. At some point I also want to film a year-end wrap-up video so I can get my YT channel rolling again. I've given myself a very easy-going posting schedule for the first half of the coming year, using mostly footage I shot of projects I've already completed, so that should give me time to get things positioned for more regular posting in the Fall.

Since we won't be moving, I'm also putting the Ivy Dress back on the menu. It's probably a bit ambitious to get done by April, but I'm feeling very confident today.
