Tookie passed in the night. We had a couple of false alarms during the day where she ended up rallying, but this morning she was gone. I was glad that she hung on until I got home and I got to cuddle her one more time. She even gave me a little purr as I petted her before bedtime. We put her in her nest, and she passed in her sleep, which is a good death. She was warm and loved and comfortable. I'll miss that old girl.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You gave her a good life and the opportunity for a good death and that's all you can ask for.
