m_of_disguiseThe chicken tortilla soup was a bust. Not necessarily bad, just very underwhelming. Tasted like it came from a can. Even futzing with it afterward didn't help. Will not repeat that recipe. Shame, because it looks amazing in the pot.
No plans for the weekend except chores. Laundry needs to be put away, dishes need doing, we need to eat, etc. I'd like to squeeze in a bit of sewing time in there somewhere, maybe get a ruffle or two attached to the first skirt tier, but I'm not holding my breath. No expectations, no disappointment, right?
Captain is out all next week, and I have a half-week. I think I'll work on making the blades for a brise fan during my down time, give myself something to do.
