m_of_disguiseDespite still being dog sick, I decided I really needed to make a pot of chili last night. Put in a grocery pickup for all the ingredients because there was no way I was dragging my carcas around a store. It took all evening to make it, and we ended up eating around 9pm, but at least we have food for the next few days.
The dish situation has become dire, so tonight is dedicated to getting them done. If there's any time left afterward, I will attempt to work on the stays some more. I'm so close to the end! If I could get the cording done on the remaining back panels either tonight or tomorrow, then Friday I can hopefully finish up with lining, straps, and binding. If I don't end up sewing tonight, then it's petticoat starching time instead.
Regency event is next weekend, so I really need to make the tunic this weekend. I'm very glad that it's not this weekend because it's supposed to be 100 degrees and NOPE. Next weekend is supposed to be a much more reasonable 87.
