Was totally exhausted last night, so did nothing after work except tend the baby. She was in bed at her normal time, so I collapsed into my own bed at 9:30. Slept soundly until the baby woke up at 5. All I keep thinking about with her current screwy sleep schedule is how much daylight savings is going to suck.
M has started taking Sequel classes through his work. They're on Fridays at noon, but he's said that the baby is so distracting that he's had to drop out of two of the zoom classes already. So, for the next few Fridays, I will be going home for lunch so I can keep the baby out of his hair for the hour of his class. I don't mind this, as it makes the work day seem much shorter when it's broken up like that.
The lady that organized the group purchase of ball tickets for the Dickens ball has also secured us a hairdresser! I might actually have passable historical hair for once instead of a half-collapsed pile of knots like I usually have.
Had a stray thought yesterday and remembered that the Texas Civil War Museum will be closing permanently next month. They have a stunning Victorian dress collection, so I'm going to try and make a visit out there before they shut down and get some dress pics. I know for certain that this amazing purple dress is in their collection, so I'm hoping it's on display and I can get some detail pics.
The corset boning for the 1830s stays are out for delivery, so the goal for this weekend is to finally finish the stays. If I have the time, I will mock up the surplice bodice pattern I drafted out earlier this week. I'd love to get the bodice pieces cut out so I could bring them to work to sew on during lunch, but we'll see how things go.
