Had a terrible headache all day yesterday. The Captain was not at work, so at least my day was slow, but I really would have rather been at home catching up on sleep. I treated myself to 40 minutes in the fancy massage chair since I had nothing to do.
Came home and M had a bee in his bonnet about doing a bunch of cleaning, so I sat on the couch and held the baby while he took out the trash and vacuumed the entire house. Not complaining! Afterward we were both hungry and tired, so M picked up some McDonald's for us. I made a plate for the baby of leftover ham and carrots and sat in the playpen with her while she ate to make sure she ate all her veggies. Tiger came in and tried to bum ham off of us, with no success, but the baby did crawl up to him and give him a kiss on his back, which was very sweet.
We watched a bit of TV together before heading to bed early. I thought I would finally be able to catch up on sleep, but the baby was up at 2:30. It took me far too long to figure out what she needed (Motrin and a warm bottle of milk), so I didn't get back to sleep until after 4:30 because she kept fussing. At her last checkup the doctor had said that she's probably getting her molars in right now, which is why she's chewing everything and everyone, and drooling like a faucet. Molars, apparently, take forever to come in and hurt like hell, so fun times are ahead for all of us.
Grocery pickup tonight, then going to try and finally make that chowder. M is planning to go out either tonight or tomorrow to pick up Thanksgiving food, which is his deal this year because he wants a beef tenderloin. I had planned to make the Bob's Burgers Thanksgiving, but I have run out of enthusiasm for that much cooking for just the two of us.
