I really, really need whatever phase the baby is going through to be over. While I was making her dinner last night she just stood there and SCREAMED again and again. She had gotten over the screaming for attention thing months ago, but for some reason she has started up again. I can't stand it, I am losing my mind.
Once she finally had dinner to distract her, I got to work making a large batch of meatballs. It took freaking forever because I was trying to make them small enough for the baby, so they are teaspoon sized meatballs and it took 10,000 years to roll and bake them all. But now we have 2lbs of meatballs that we can portion out for her meals or for pasta or whatever.
Baby went to bed at a decent hour with minimal fuss, thank Zod. I was so frustrated and irritated that I didn't end up sewing, I knew I would just get more frustrated and irritated if I did. Then she fussed and cried every 30 minutes, and I figured it was because she could hear the living room TV and see the lights, so I shut everything down and went into the bedroom so she wouldn't have anything keeping her up.
Very, very over this.

Are earplugs a possibility? They don't block everything, which is a feature in this case since a real problem is still possible, but would they mute enough to help?
