A write-up for the Victorian weekend is in the works, so no big breakdown of it today, but I will say that the entire weekend was completely fabulous, and thank Zod for my antidepressants because I actually was able to enjoy everything and not feel glum!
Things went seriously downhill once I got home, though. I woke up on Monday morning to find that my car had been towed from the apartment lot, which was infuriating because we had all our cars registered. I called and tried to figure out what the hell happened, and the clueless dude on the other line just kept saying that we "weren't in the system". I produced the email confirmation that we were, in fact, registered, but because it didn't have the permit numbers listed it basically did me no good. FLAMES.
So I took a long lunch and M and I went to liberate the car. M was waaaay more chill about it than I expected, because he blew a gasket last time this happened, and it was $330 down the drain. I guess he was way more relaxed because our tax returns had finally come in, and we hit the halfway mark on our savings goal.
Tuesday was equally stupid, as I was pulled into the Captain's office and told that my counterpart at the main facility had a vendetta against me and was tracking my movements to see if she could prove that I was abusing my time off. First, fuck all the way off, lady. Second, why? Well, I found out today why, because a friend in the admin office told me that Bitch is under active investigation for fraternizing with a married superior. So it looks like she's trying to deflect attention away from herself.
Anyway, things are considerably quieter today. It's been a pretty good day overall, save for a dull headache. I'm taking a break from sewing this week to just exist quietly for a while, then I'll start sewing on my red dress for the May tea. I want to give myself plenty of time to work on that, because this last dress took three months, even with two weeks of vacation where I really knocked out a lot of the foundation skirt.
Write-up for the finished ballgown is now up on my blog!

OMG, that is my worst nightmare. Is there any chance that you could get them to refund the money, since it was THEIR mistake? (You can at least ask, the worst they can do is say no.)

What a bitch!
