m_of_disguiseGot so fed up with the apartment complex that I tracked down their parent company and sent them an email. Apparently it just went to the manager of our complex, because I got an email back from her saying that they were "in the process of hiring a general contractor" and that the office will be closed until June 9th. Christ in a crock pot.
Speaking of the complex, they sent out an email that "the city" would be towing any cars parked on the street on Monday, with no warning, so make sure you have your parking permits! It's a load of bull, because the only place the city would tow for on-the-street parking is around the cultural district (I checked the city's website to make extra sure of this) So yeah, they're just harassing residents and blaming it on the city now. Stellar people, them.
M told me last night that he has a wedding to attend in October, so I'll be at home with the baby on my own for a few days. He seems oddly worried about this trip, even though I've been alone with the baby for longer stretches than that before. ~shrug~
Had my first battle with pregnancy hormones last night, where I ended up sitting in the middle of the floor and crying for no reason. That never happened during my first pregnancy, and I am NOT a fan of that, thank you. I've been feeling low for several days, and I miss my antidepressants. M went out and got me some comfort chicken nuggets, and we sat on the couch after the baby went to bed and chatted, which helped lift my mood.
Busy weekend ahead - big grocery run, car inspection, laundry, etc. Movie date on Sunday will be nice.
