Aug. 3rd, 2023 09:53 amOB appointment went well yesterday. I'm hitting all the milestones and whatnot, and everything looks good. I need to get my 3rd trimester bloodwork done at the end of the month, and they'll also check for cystic fibrosis and all that jazz, which I think they probably already did during the amnio, but I'll ask them when I go back next week just to make sure.
I think that despite claiming that he wasn't worried about the previous abnormal test results, M was secretly (maybe even to himself) quite worried, because all of a sudden now that we have the all clear from the amnio, he's talking about how to convert the office into a nursery and how many diapers to buy and whatnot. He laid his head on my lap while watching TV last night and petted my belly lovingly, so I think he's more relieved than he lets on.
Came home and made a pot of cajun chicken pasta. I did not get sick when I ate it because I didn't overstuff myself this time! Hooray! M and I watched a couple of hours of TV together, then I took a shower and went to bed. So, no sewing last night.
M has some more tax stuff to wrap up for his business tonight, so after dinner I'll have the house to myself and will hopefully get another ruffle zigzagged and hemmed once he's out of the house. I don't think I'll be able to finish as much as I thought before the weekend, but I can hopefully get this stupid project done once and for all by Sunday.
