Sep. 26th, 2023 08:37 amWe keep breaking record high temps, and I am over it. It's not supposed to be hovering near 100 this close to October. -_-
Populace last night was fun, and I got to meet some new people. It was nice to have it so near the house. The only bummer was that they have only unpadded wooden chairs at La Madeleine, so after an hour of sitting my back and butt were pretty unhappy. I also realized last night that the pandemic has completely obliterated my ability to socialize, like, at all, so I'm having to relearn how to...you know...carry on conversations beyond the initial introduction. Yeesh.
Tuesdays are my slow days at work, so I'm going to sketch out some coif embroidery designs today, based off my previous strawberries and snails design. Instead of black/redwork, I'm going to expand it to some of the other stitches that I learned over the weekend, since I think the detached buttonhole stitch would be perfect for strawberries.
